Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh is currently working as a Vice President, Medical Service. Nova Medical Centers, is also a consultant,for the last one year,in Surgical Oncology and laparoscopic surgeries at Health Care Global Enterprises Ltd. She started her surgical career as consultant and moved on to become an Associate Professor at St.Johns Medical College, Bangalore where she has served for almost a decade.
Dr. Nanda has consistently excelled in academics, professionally she has sought to constantly upgrade her medical knowledge and undertaken the latest courses and training in Medicine such as Laparoscopic surgery, Microvascular surgery, Colorectal surgery and surgical Oncology. She has been trained at A.V. Hospital Bangalore and Ethicon Institute Mumbai, for Laparoscopic surgeries and advanced Laparoscopic surgery training at GEM Hospital Coimbatore. She is extensively trained in Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology Tata Memorial Hospital, Bombay.
As the Vice-President of Nova Medical Centre, Bangalore, a specialized healthcare provider that focuses on minimally invasive surgery utilizing modern technology she has undertaken a range of responsibilities in addition to working as a consultant, such as quality standards assurance, designing processes and workflow for the hospital, providing professional guidance, training and coaching consultants and doctors, undertaking the role of a strategic advisor on medical decisions, brand management, etc.
She has been trained in research ethics at Harvard University Boston. She has had a wide range of international experience, having actively participated at the University of Heidelberg, Germany (at the Pancreatic Cancer Referral Centre), AZ Nikolas Hospital at Belgium, for advanced training and Laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of Morbid Obesity, also attended the 14th world congress of the IFSO (international federation for the Surgery of Obesity and metabolic disorders) in Paris, attended the 2nd BGES (Belgium group for Endoscopic Surgery) life surgery congress in the University of Louvain to name a few.
Simultaneously Dr. Nanda has also been contributing to the medical research forefront through research articles published in Indexed Journals, Paper presentations at the national and international level, through contribution of Chapters to books. She has been an invited speaker at several national and international conferences. As a member of several prominent Medical associations such as Vice President of the Colorectal Association, Executive Member of Laparoscopy Association of India, Member of Assocition of Surgeons of India, AMASICON, IAGS, Medi Tel India, Association of Colorectal Surgeons, her contributions have been substantial.
Dr.Nanda has had her training in Laparoscopic Surgery at AV Hospital, Bangalore, Ethicon Institute Mumbai and Advanced training at GEM Hospital Coimbatore. She has undergone a short course of surgical training at University Hospital Heidelberg, Germany (Pancreatic Cancer referral Center). She has also underwent basic and advanced course in colorectal surgery in Birmingham UK. She was selected as a travelling fellow from colorectal associations of India to visit Heartland Hospital at Birmingham and participated there in both open and laparoscopic surgeries.
She has been awarded the Fellowship of the Tata Memorial Bombay in G.I. Surgical Oncology and Fellow of Association of Colorectal Surgeons of India (FACRSI), Fellow of International College of Surgeons (FICS).
